Monty Maxwell was an extraordinary individual, always ready to help others. I am grateful I got to meet and work alongside Monty. His generous contributions to our community were immense and his presence is dearly missed. This morning we gathered in his memory to raise crucial awareness about stroke and raise funds for the scholarship in his memory. The Monty Maxwell Scholarship will continue his legacy of giving back. ๐๐ค

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the CSU Juneteenth Symposium. It was a powerful event with dynamic speakers, a day of learning, and reflection of what more we must do together. I also walked away with a list of must read books. Add them to your list too. ๐
