Is your motorcycle gear actually protecting you? Time to scrutinize your PPE! Check the inner labels for official CE ratings (Level 1 or 2) and overall garment A, AA, or AAA abrasion ratings. Don't ride unprotected—motorcycle "style" is NOT motorcycle function.

July in 1988, motorcycle safety entered the digital era with the introduction of electronic Anti-Lock Braking Systems (ABS).

While motorcycle ABS a requirement in some other countries, it is optional in the United States. It aims to prevent catastrophic wheel lock-up during maximum braking—keeping the motorcycle upright if panic hits.
