Hey, hornets! This Thursday, we’re throwing it back to the Sacramento State Police Department in 2014. 📷
Even though it has been 12 years since then, you can see the department has continued to uphold our value for campus safety.

On April 22nd, the Sacramento State Police Department presented for students and campus community on what to do if there were an active attacker.
We would like to thank Deputy Chief Lofthouse and Sergeant Elmore for sharing their knowledge with those who attended.

Throwback Thursday!
Last week, we had a special visit from (Ret.) Detective Rogers. Rogers and Chief Madison worked together for many years as detectives during the late 90s through the early 2000s.
Rogers was a phenomenal and passionate expert K9 handler, trainer, and mentor to many. Fun opinion (fact), Rogers had many K9 partners, but the overall favorite remains “Miss Maya.” Maya was the most loving and dedicated K9, relied upon heavily by many detectives and agencies across the region. We miss you Maya!
We were excited and thankful for Det. Roger’s visit.
