🤖 Is it a robot? Let’s find out!

This week, Mobile Ed Productions brought science and robotics to COA with an interactive assembly full of fun demonstrations, interesting visuals, and questions that got our students thinking! 🧪🔬

A little curiosity, a little critical thinking, and a whole lot of learning!

✖️➗ Multiplication in action! 🧠✨

Our 4th graders are building their multiplication skills, working through problems, finding patterns, and putting their math thinking to work. 📚💡

One problem at a time, one strategy at a time—and those multiplication facts are getting stronger! 💪🔢

OH NO. 😭 Cone #3. And this one has a witness.

IN MEMORY OF ANOTHER FALLEN GUARDIAN

This afternoon, on September 11th, 2026, COA of Arts suffered yet another devastating loss in the drop-off zone. Cone #3, a longtime protector of our students, parents, and sacred fire lane, was struck in the middle of the parking lot.

Thankfully, this time, we have a witness. The suspect was, in fact, a truck. We will not be releasing any further details at this time.

Cone #3’s fellow cones watched helplessly as his upper half was crushed completely flat, parallel to the ground, while his base remained standing. Even in the face of unimaginable adversity, he refused to leave his post.

His five surviving cone coworkers now stand behind him, presumably processing what they have just witnessed.

Our beloved cone dedicated his life to guiding traffic, protecting the fire lane, and reminding us all that orange cones are not merely decorative objects placed around a parking lot for fun.

He leaves behind five cones who will carry on his legacy.

Please drive carefully, COA families. We have now lost too many good cones.

🕊️ REMEMBERING SEPTEMBER 11 🇺🇸

Today, our third graders took time to learn about September 11, 2001, read about what happened, and talk together about why it is important to remember. 📖❤️

Students learned, created, and remembered through reading, conversations, and art activities. They also made heartfelt cards for U.S. service members stationed overseas, sharing messages of gratitude and appreciation. 🇺🇸💌

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🕊️

One chapter closes, and another begins 🎉

This week we proudly celebrated our 5th grade students at their promotion ceremony. These students have grown into leaders, role models, artists, athletes, performers, and scholars, and it has been incredible to watch their journey.

As they prepare for middle school, we know they are leaving elementary school with memories, friendships, and experiences that will stay with them for years to come.

Congratulations to our promoting class — your COA family is cheering you on every step of the way 💙

Best last week of school ever! 🎉☀️🌈

We’ve been celebrating our students all week long and making the most of these final days together before summer break! From i-Ready Growth ice cream parties and Slice with Vice to Pops with Cops, tie-dye parties, classroom parties, and so many fun moments in between, this week has been full of smiles, laughter, and memories.

Our students have worked so hard all year, and we love getting to celebrate their growth, achievements, and the incredible school community we’ve built together. 💙🍦✨

And we’re not done yet… one more day left — FIELD DAY!! 🏃‍♀️☀️🎈
