Our officers found Coco wandering the streets after she ran away. Fortunately she was licensed, which allowed us to quickly contact her owner and send her home with no fees! Do you have Household Junk that needs to be collected? City of Sacramento Solid Waste customers can have two junk piles collected each year.
Review the allowed items in the link below, and select "Make a Service Request" at the bottom to schedule the pickup. You will receive your pickup date through email within one-two days.
Household Junk Collection
The city provides two (2) appointments per calendar year for the free pickup of acceptable bulky household items including yard waste. Household Junk Pickup appointments are available from February through October.

Reminder - Recycling & Solid Waste service will be on the normal schedule this Monday, December 26th. Solid Waste crews and 311 work the holiday as normal. Remember to have your cans out by 6am.

Tomorrow is expected to be another rainy day. While we love all the water for our rivers and agriculture, it can cause street flooding.
