A huge thank you to Linda Fire for hosting a satellite boot drive and raising an incredible $13,000+ for the Firefighters Burn Institute!

We want to give a very special congratulations and thank you to our incredible volunteers, Roxie and Ernie, for being named the DOVIA Volunteers of the Year! We were honored to nominate them, and even more excited to see them take home the award.

For more than 30 years, Roxie and Ernie have dedicated their time, hearts, and energy to the Firefighters Burn Institute. From supporting satellite boot drives and community outreach events to always showing up wherever help is needed, they have been a true example of selfless service and commitment.

Their dedication runs so deep that volunteering for FFBI was even written into their wedding vows, a true testament to the love they share not only with each other, but with our mission and community.

Roxie and Ernie, thank you for the countless hours, unwavering support, and compassion you have given over the years. FFBI is stronger because of volunteers like you, and we are beyond grateful to have you as part of our family. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor!

Thank you to Madison Fire Protection District for hosting a Satellite Boot Drive. Their community raised over $14,624 for the Firefighters Burn Institute. They have been hosting a boot drive for FFBI for 20 years, and we are beyond thankful for the support!

We also want to thank Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation for generously giving a matching donation to bring the grand total to $29,248!! Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation has been consistently matching for 18 years and it has made a tremendous impact.

A huge thank you to Rocklin Fire Department for hosting a satellite boot drive in support of the Firefighters Burn Institute. This was their very first year participating, and they raised an incredible $2,100!

We are so grateful for their partnership, enthusiasm, and support of our mission. Funds raised through events like these help us continue providing vital programs and services for burn survivors and their families.
