CRWA Circuit Rider Abel Silva was onsite with Casitas Municipal Water Company during a well casing project facilitated by Boreline.
The previous casing failed twice, however, since they switched to Boreline they have had no problems. The system has gone up in production and down in pumping costs.

💧 Build Your Career with the CRWA Apprenticeship Program
CRWA’s Water/Wastewater Specialist Apprenticeship Program offers a hands-on pathway for utility employees looking to grow their knowledge and skills in water and wastewater operations.
Beginning August 2026, this U.S. Department of Labor Federally Registered Apprenticeship Program combines:
✔️ 307 hours of formal training
✔️ 4,000 hours of on-the-job experience
✔️ A structured path to strengthen technical, managerial, and financial skills
The program is designed to support multiple certifications in operations and safety, while also opening pathways toward utility management credentials, a CSUS Office of Water Programs certification, and a 2-year associate’s degree in water and wastewater management through participating California community colleges.
This program helps develop the skilled professionals needed to support strong, reliable water systems across our communities.
