Kick off the season of giving with a delicious meal that supports local families! 🌯❤️

When you order dinner from Chipotle on Wednesday, October 21st, 25% of event sales will go directly to support La Familia Counseling Center!

As we get ready to jump into our holiday programming, your support means more than ever. We’re partnering with Chipotle for a special dine-out fundraiser to help fund our upcoming holiday efforts and ensure every family in our community feels cared for this season!

At this year’s Rare Impact Fund Benefit in Los Angeles, La Familia received the inaugural Katherine Short Legacy Award.💛

Introduced by Selena Gomez, this award was created in memory of Katherine Short—daughter of actor Martin Short—a devoted clinical social worker who spent her life helping others through their hardest moments before losing her life to su***de this past February. To be given the very first legacy award bearing her name, on a night dedicated to youth mental health and community care, is something that resonates deeply for those of us doing this work.

This recognition truly belongs to our extraordinary La Familia staff, who work every day to close that gap with compassion and heart. Together, we create safe, inclusive, culturally responsive spaces where young people know they belong, that they matter, and that they never have to face their struggles alone.

The Rare Impact Fund, powered by Rare Beauty, does amazing work to shine a light on youth mental health and reduce the stigma. Our deepest, most heartfelt thanks go out to Selena Gomez, the entire Rare Impact Fund team, and the Short family for believing in our work and lifting up our mission.

🔭 FREE ASTRONOMY DAY TRIPS FOR YOUTH! 🚀
We’re excited to share this amazing opportunity from our partner United Latinos!

Juntos Afuera- Viaje a Las Estrellas offers a series of FREE astronomy day trips for children ages 8–14 who are interested in learning about space and the stars.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Participants will have the opportunity to:
🔭 Learn about observatories and how they support space exploration
🪐 View stars, planets, and other celestial objects up close
🚀 Visit observatories and planetariums across Northern California
