ACWA Executive Director Karla Nemeth spent some time this week connecting with ACWA members in Southern California, learning more about their work and seeing innovative water projects in action.

The trip included tours of East Valley Water District’s Sterling Natural Resource Center and Orange County Water District’s Groundwater Replenishment System. Along with visits to the Municipal Water District of Orange County, San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District and Western Municipal Water District.

These visits highlight the innovation, collaboration and commitment that drive our members as they work to provide reliable water supplies and sustainable solutions for their communities.

What a day in Region 10! Attendees started with the program, hearing from panelists and speakers about “Navigating Uncertainty: Securing Southern California’s Water Future”.
