SSG Alfredo Silva
Today we remember and honor our fallen warrior, Staff Sergeant Alfredo B. Silva was killed September 15, 2005 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during patrol operations in Baghdad.
35 years old, of Calexico, California, SSG Silva was a husband, father, and an avid fast pitch softball player with a ferocious spirit and enormous heart. Always there for a fellow Soldier, SSG Silva is fondly remembered. The entire Nightstalker family is better for having served beside him.
He is survived by his wife, Cecilia, and daughter, Mariel.
Rest easy Nightstalker.
