As we welcome the New Year, the California Peace Officers Association wishes you and your loved ones a happy, healthy, and safe celebration. A few small choices can help everyone start the year on the right foot.
Here are three easy tips to keep the night fun and worry-free:
1️⃣ Have a plan to get home. If you’re celebrating with a drink, line up a designated driver, rideshare, or a place to stay.
2️⃣ Celebrate responsibly. Enjoy the festivities, skip unsafe fireworks, and store fi****ms safely and securely.
3️⃣ Look out for one another. Check in on friends, family, and neighbors—especially if someone needs a hand getting home.
Here’s to a great year ahead. Stay safe, enjoy the moment, and Happy New Year from all of us at CPOA!
