St. Albans House

te 1800s. By 1912, according to historic Sanborn Maps, the existing Mansard roof was in place. To the rear (south) are a two-story, gable-roof, brick ell and a number of attached outbuildings. The configurations, sizes and functions of these outbuildings have also changed over time. East of the brick ell is a 1 1/2 story side gabled, wood-clad building and a 1 1/2 story former ice house, joined to one another and to the main block via a series of three, single-story, flat-roof connector additions. Oral histories indicate that several of these buildings were moved to the site at various times, particularly in the mid 20th century, though conclusive evidence to support this has not been found.
