Siren in the distance? Lights in your rearview mirror?

Knowing how to safely yield helps emergency responders get where they need to go. If an emergency vehicle is approaching, stay alert, safely move out of its path and follow your state's laws.

🚨 When approaching a stopped emergency vehicle with flashing lights, move into a non-adjacent lane or slow down if you can't safely change lanes. Move Over laws are in all 50 states!

Last evening, while you were eating dinner, your Tri-Twp Firefighters were busy getting after it. The training topic? Advanced vehicle extrication.

These men and women went right to work with problem solving, vehicle stabilization, and uncommon extrication scenarios.

These crews worked right into the evening hours.

Why?

Because that’s what the job demands. And this is what our community deserves.

Today, the Family Dollar invited your Tri Township Fire District to participate, in a Touch-A-Truck, while they gave away free backpacks. 

FF Jayme Kendall, took the day off from work, and volunteered to assist.

If you’re ever driving by our station, and the trucks are out? Feel free to stop in. We would love to show you around, and give you a tour.
