Summer is here! And Pickleball is all the rage! Always wanted to give it a try but don’t know where to start?! Check out one of our Lucky Day Pickleball kits and give it a shot today! (Awesome workout short shorts, snazzy socks, and sweatbands not included)

With so many parents and families using the library, we wanted to let you know that there is a lovely lactation lounge available for anyone needing to nurse/pump or have a private, clean, and comfortable space to take care of their babies. There is even a private family restroom attached for convenience. If you need the key, just ask at the Children's Desk, and staff will be happy to help you.

Happy belated Geek Pride Day everyone! It looks like we had a visit from the Geek Fairy and Library Gnomes! The St. Cloud Public Library is excited to announce a new addition to the collection: VIDEO GAMES!!! Starting today, we will have a selection of Lucky Day Switch games available for check out! Limit 2 per patron, no requests or renewals, these 1 week checkouts are sure to be a hit! Hurry in for your chance to check out the fun! (NOTE – Switch gaming console not available for check out)

Explore the great Minnesota outdoors this summer with your library card!

We’ve collaborated with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to provide free, seven-day state park passes for you to check out through the Minnesota State Park Library Program. This pass covers the vehicle entry fee to any state park or recreation area, making it easier to visit a new destination or an old favorite (Minnesota State Parks and Trails).

Learn how to check out a pass at https://griver.org/library-news/mn-state-parks-program. When you get to the state park, make sure the pass is clearly displayed on your vehicle dashboard so park staff can check for the expiration date. Passes only cover the vehicle entrance fee, so if you’d like to camp, reservations will need to be made and paid for separately. Finally, when you are finished, just recycle the pass!

Did you know that you can borrow passes to local experiences from the St Cloud Public Library? We have several passes available for the State Parks, the Quarry Park, and a pass to the Stearns County History Museum. Each pass allows for free access and lasts for one week from the date of checkout. These cannot be requested ahead of time, so try your luck and pop in to see if there are any passes available today!
