Today is Jose Banzai’s 6th year gotchaversary. He was pulled from the red list(euthanasia) of an upstate very small shelter. He’s got a heck of a decorated history as a MWD and has been a tremendous part of the SAR team. He doesn’t sniff bombs any more but he’s been an easy handle and training dog for green handlers since he’s been here. He’s retired as of last year. He’s 16 and has doggy sundowners dementia. 🍻 to José Jalapeño!

We had a nasty storm blow through last night. Dogs and handlers are fine. Exercise yard is demolished. We’re out of service for roll outs this week as we’re busy cleaning up and building back.
