PLANTS IN THE WILD
The RLCD team has been hard at work over the last two weeks preparing to plant up to 3,000 native trees and shrubs across two riparian restoration sites. From chokecherries and hawthorns to golden currant and nearly 10 other varieties. All of these plants have been sourced locally through Plants of the Wild in Tekoa. They will provide bank stabilization, erosion control, and wildlife habitat once established.
Keep an eye out for our crews this week - they are doing good, hard work planting trees for the future!
