Eight members declared their candidacies for the American Angus Association Board of Directors by the deadline for publication in the October .

Seeking a first term are Dean Bryant, Monkton, Md.; Scott Bush, Britton, S.D.; Kenny Hinkle, Nevada, Mo.; Steve Knoll, Hereford, Texas; Will McMillan, Newton, Miss.; Matt Perrier, Eureka, Kan.; Logan Sampson, Ruby Valley, Nev.; and Doug Stevenson, Reed Point, Mont.

Delegates will elect five directors; a president and chairman of the Board; and a vice president and vice chairman of the Board during the Association’s 143rd Annual Convention of Delegates, which will convene at 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) Monday, Nov. 16, in Louisville, Ky.
