The St. Maries Fire Protection District is showing our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing pink!

October is a time to raise awareness, honor those who are fighting breast cancer, remember those we have lost, and celebrate the survivors. Together, we stand in support of the individuals and families in our community who have been affected by breast cancer.

Early detection matters. Encourage your loved ones to stay up to date on recommended screenings and take care of their health.

From our SMFPD family to yours, we wear pink with hope, love, and support! 💗

Training Beyond the Fire Station!

During our training, we had the opportunity to tour Stimson Lumber and learn more about their operations, facilities, and the unique challenges that could be involved in an emergency.

Training like this is so valuable for our firefighters because knowing the layout of local businesses and understanding potential hazards helps us be better prepared when we’re called to respond.

A big thank-you to Stimson Lumber for welcoming us and taking the time to share your facility and knowledge with our crew!
