π¨π NATIONAL MOVE OVER DAY ππ¨
SLOW DOWN. MOVE OVER. SAVE LIVES.
Every day, first responders put their lives on the line to protect and serve our communities. But one of the greatest dangers they face isn't always the emergency they're responding to β it's passing traffic.
Here at Pleasants County EMS, we're asking our community to help keep our emergency responders and roadside workers safe.
π SLOW DOWN β When approaching emergency vehicles or roadside workers, reduce your speed and stay alert.
π¨ MOVE OVER β If you see flashing lights or a stopped emergency or service vehicle, safely move into the lane farthest away whenever possible.
β οΈ PROCEED WITH CARE β If changing lanes isn't safe or possible, slow down and pass with extreme caution.
π¨βπ Whether it's EMS, firefighters, law enforcement, tow truck operators, or roadside crews, everyone deserves to go home safely at the end of their shift.
β€οΈ Remember: Behind every flashing light is someone's family member, friend, or loved one.
It only takes a few seconds to slow down and move over, but those few seconds could save a life.
π PLEASE DON'T JUST SEE THE FLASHING LIGHTS β RESPECT THE LIVES BEHIND THEM!
π’ Help us spread the word! SHARE this post and remind your friends and family to SLOW DOWN, MOVE OVER, and PROCEED WITH CARE!
