Use your library card to check out fall colors this season! Check out a seven-day state park pass to get free entry into any state park or recreation area and take in the spectacular foliage happening this fall (Minnesota State Parks and Trails). Will you go to nearby Charles A. Lindbergh State Park or venture further to Gooseberry Falls State Park? Learn how to check out a pass at griver.org/library-news/mn-state-parks-program. When you arrive at the park, make sure the pass is clearly displayed on your vehicle dashboard. Library park passes only cover the vehicle entrance fee, so if you’d like to camp, you’ll need to make and pay for those reservations separately. When you are finished visiting, you don’t need to return the pass, just recycle it. The state park passes are provided as part of the Minnesota State Park Library Program, a collaboration between our library and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
