It's hard to believe September 11 was 25 years ago when in many ways, it feels like it just happened. For the families who lost loved ones, for the survivors, for the first responders, and for so many who witnessed that day, time does not erase memory.
Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost. We honor the first responders who rushed into danger, not knowing what the outcome would be. We honor the everyday heroes, who stepped up to rescue others and worked to evacuate those caught in distress. We stand with the families who lost so much.
Ultimately, we remember the resilience of a nation and how we united together during one of our darkest times.
25 years later, the stories still matter. Never Forget.
