We had a wonderful time celebrating Chuseok together at Sejong Academy!
Students, families, staff, and community members came together to enjoy Korean food, traditional games, performances, and cultural activities. It was a joyful evening filled with community, culture, and celebration.
Thank you to everyone who helped plan, prepare, perform, volunteer, and participate. We are grateful to share this meaningful Korean tradition with our Sejong community.
즐거운 한가위였습니다!

Join us for a parent workshop on Thursday, October 1st from 10-11am. This session introduces the International Baccalaureate IB and our two IB programs at Sejong: the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students in grades 6-10 and our Career-related Programme (CP) for students in grades 11 &12. The IB coordinator, Ms. Roubinek, will introduce the two programs as well as how students are graded. Students are assessed differently in the IB so the grades they receive and their report card will probably look different than a traditional report card. This session is open to all parents of 6th-12th graders. Parents of 6th grade students and transfer students are especially invited to attend as the IB is a different style of education that parents may not be familiar with. During this session, Ms. Roubinek can also introduce and answer questions about our learning platform Toddle where you can check student progress and grades. The presentation will have K'nyaw interpretation.
