1 shopper. 1 year. 500 bags. 💚

One reusable bag can replace about 500 single-use bags over a year, and now, NOURISH is giving shoppers ChicoBag reusable bags at our community food distributions!

This helps keep single-use plastic out of landfills while making it easier to carry home food chosen with care. Our client-choice model naturally helps reduce waste, because neighbors select the foods they know they’ll actually use: stretching food, nourishment, and household budgets further.

Together, we can follow the order of operations: reduce, reuse, recycle, compost. (Plastic bags can be difficult to recycle and often require separate drop-off.)

This ChicoBag distribution is made possible with support from a Ramsey County Food Waste Prevention & Food Recovery Grant. We’re grateful to our partners for helping build a healthier, more sustainable community!

Come through! We’d love to see you! Share this with a neighbor. 💚

How do we reduce waste? With ChicoBag VITA! This weekend our shoppers will receive one of these amazing while supplies last. Each reusable bag holds up to 40 lbs and prevents 500 plastic bags from going into land fills.

Help us keep our community clean by helping us reduce food waste and traditional plastic bags by visiting NOURISH this weekend!
