Just saw an unidentified flying object fly over my bus stop.

Well actually it was a US Military fighter jet. I think it was either an F-22 or a FA 18. I couldn't identify it.

To those that follow this account, if you've never gotten involved in a local party unit (bpou) or helping out the candidate running in your House or Senate District they would probably want you to help for a few hours to Get Out The Vote. Since early voting started 6 weeks out we are in the thick of it now.

Candidates are door knocking, doing lit drops, calling or texting (thank God my landline doesn't do texting). Financial donations are fine, but time spent doing physical action is what wins elections.

If you think your local candidate won't win and you don't help you are just contributing to the other side winning because they really want to tax you out of your home and ban your gasoline powered car and lawnmower/snowthrower.

So get off the Bench and Get into the Game.

To all those Navy Vets out there, Happy Anniversary. My late father was WW2 Navy Vet. He served from 1942 to 1946. The Navy gave him a new occupation and he served the rest of his life as a Master Electrician. My late mother helped build B-25 Bombers in California during the war.

Just saw a yard sign for Natasha Bennett for SD 65. Wondering if she is running as a write in candidate. She lost in the primary.

Maybe she should endorse Rocco the MN State Senate Candidate SD65 and defeat the DFLer together.

It's an open seat as Sandy Pappas "retired"

Was doing timestamps on the LLWWV Forum for Ramsey Co Commission District 3, 4, & 6 where there is only 1 contested Race in District 3 between Garrison McMurtrey the DFL endorsed candidate and a nonpartisan but a previously endorsed GOPer for State Legislature Greg Copeland For Saint Paul.

Greg told me that he asked the League why they have 2 uncontested candidates at the forum. They told him voters want to hear what those 2 believe. Um they are DFL endorsed in a nonpartisan race it's obvious what they stand for: Big Govt Spending & Control.

One of them Mai Chong Xiong is endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America. Her parents fled SE Asia from the Communists only for their daughter to get endorsed by Communists. Where will her parents flee to next?

Why is it fair that the DFL get 3 minutes to answer a question when Greg Copeland gets only 1 minute.

Though Mr McMurtrey will need a lawyer soon as I'm making a complaint about what he did as an elected official and being the Chair of record for what the defunct St Paul DFL did last year for 2 Ballot questions. He should be disqualified to be on the ballot for the subject of this complaint. They violated MNCFB rules.

Was chatting with a delegate from HD 66A. He said his brother was sent to the Villas in Roseville a nursing home to rehabilitate from a car accident. He says there's nothing but laziness and neglect of the patients there. Thanks to Rocco the MN State Senate Candidate SD65 for helping him there.

He and his brother are Vets and he wonders why the VA or the MN Dept of Veterans Affairs doesn't have a rehabilitation center for Vets to recuperate.

I've heard of zero concern from these forums the LWV has put on about Vets. Maybe it's because most Vets vote conservative. We didn't serve to be thanked. I served for the GI Bill as it was peacetime under Reagan when I served.

The only way there's a vacancy at a Vets Home is if another Vet dies.

Why didn't Walz or Speaker Demuth build more Veteran Homes? They are both DFLers. Lisa took $900 on record from the top DFL attorney at LGN.

Do you know those worthless self-promoting national days of (fill in the blank)? Yeah I started up some days that promote Christian Conservative Pro-Life beliefs that I call . I saw that there were parts of ones family that are often ignored so I added them to the monthly recognitions of Moms, Dads, and Grandparents. When I started being the admin of the website this acct has, I already was celebrating a personal celebration called Aunts & Uncles Day in July being that my aunts & uncles stepped up to comfort me when my father passed away in July 2003. So I added that one and then added Brothers Sisters & Cousins Day the next month in August. It wasn't until 2018 that I started up the following: Friends & Colleagues Day. They are that other family you spend 1/3 of your day with.

To my friends here and elsewhere, Have a Happy Friends & Colleagues day on Oct 18th.

It's Columbus Day tomorrow, the real day not the "Observed Day." Growing up it was a neat day as it was celebrated by everyone. Now it's been a fulcrum for which side of patriotism you fall upon. One side leans toward erasing our history and our heroes in favor of Karl Marx, while the other side embraces our heroes and our Christian inspired Republic despite the ugly moments in history.

I'd like to know when our state is going to put up the Columbus Statue again? It was a gift to our state by Italian Americans.

I know people who have American Indian tribal ancestry and they are very proud of their upbringing and yet they don't embrace the Liberal vocabulary of being a "Native American." They ask aren't everyone who is born here a Native American?

I read a lot. There's a book I want to get by Dr Nathaniel Jeanson who works for Answers in Genesis. The book is called, "They Had Names." It tracks the genetic haplogroups (people groups) that left Central Asia & Eastern Europe to cross the ice to an unnamed continent later to be named after another Italian Explorer (Amerigo Vespucci--he discovered south and northern lands as continents). Jeanson says that these "immigrants" came here about 400 years or so before Columbus landed in the West Indies. Not 50 or 100 thousand years, but less than half a millenia.
