I’ve called Francis Howell home since sixth grade.

Growing up in this community shaped me for a life and career of making a positive impact, and now, as a parent, I’m committed to aiming higher to make FHSD a place where every student can thrive.

Safety starts before the wheels even turn! 🚌

It's National School Bus Safety Week, and we're highlighting the FHSD Transportation team's commitment to keeping students safe!

For two consecutive years, our team has earned a 100% inspection pass rate from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. This year, all 151 buses passed inspection with zero defects!

From routine maintenance to daily routes, thank you to our entire Transportation team for keeping FHSD students safe on their way to and from school every day! 👏

Today is National Custodian, Maintenance, Grounds and HVAC Appreciation Day!

Join us in celebrating our unsung heroes — those who are essential to the day-to-day operation of our District 👏

Across 29 District facilities and 503 acres, operational teams maintain over 2.9 million square feet of indoor space and 26 athletic fields.

Each year, they manage more than 5,000 work orders across 23 schools and 3 non-student buildings, overseeing everything from facility upkeep and grounds management to warehouse logistics, district-wide security and emergency systems compliance.

Without these dedicated teams, our schools wouldn't be clean, our classrooms wouldn't have climate control and our District vehicles wouldn't run.

Thank you for everything you do for our students and staff. Your hard work is appreciated and doesn't go unnoticed 💙

Today was an amazing day touring the district with the Citizens in Our Schools (CIOS) class! 🥰 This district is HUGE and we do SO much for our kids and our community. I'm such a proud alum and so proud to serve on the school board supported by over two thousand incredible teachers, staff, and administrators across the district and at corporate. The CIOS experience is truly inspiring and enlightening. Highly recommend.🩷🏆
