Congratulations to Ty Ramey and Total Command LLC on being recognized as our November Business Showcase of the Month!

One of the things I especially appreciate about this recognition is the opportunity to learn more about the people behind our local businesses.

Ty is a retired U.S. Army Engineer who has been serving our community through Total Command since 2003. As someone who served in the Army, I certainly appreciate businesses that understand the importance of military standards, attention to detail, and taking care of our service members.

What also stood out to me was how Ty described his business as a "ministry disguised as a business." I think that speaks volumes about the philosophy he brings to his work and his commitment to serving others.

Thank you, Ty, for your military service, your continued investment in St. Robert, and more than 23 years of serving our community. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

One of the Best Parts of Being Mayor is Meeting New People!

Last Saturday, we celebrated the City of St. Robert’s 75th Birthday Bash, and what an incredible celebration it was! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped organize the event, our vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who came out to celebrate 75 years of St. Robert!

But one of the highlights of my day was meeting these four wonderful visitors from Lincoln, Nebraska!

They were spending two nights at one of our local hotels, exploring the area and visiting our attractions, including the Route 66 Neon Park. While visiting, they happened to see our FB post for our 75th Birthday Bash and decided to come join the celebration!

I had such a great time visiting with them, hearing about their travels, and welcoming them to our community.

This is exactly what tourism is all about! Visitors staying in our hotels, exploring our attractions, supporting our local businesses, and even joining us for community celebrations!

To our new friends from Nebraska, thank you for making St. Robert part of your travels and for helping us celebrate our 75th birthday! I hope you enjoyed your visit as much as I enjoyed meeting you. Come back and see us anytime!

75 years of St. Robert, and we’re just getting started! 🎉🇺🇸

🇺🇸 ST. ROBERT, LET'S SHOW OUR PATRIOTISM AND HONOR TWO AMERICAN HEROES! 🇺🇸

Tomorrow, Friday, October 30, the South-Central Missouri Patriot Guard Riders will once again travel through our community on a very special mission, es**rting the cremated remains of two United States Army veterans to their final resting places.

🇺🇸 COL Daniel Morgan Jones, a Vietnam veteran who will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.

🇺🇸 SP Maurice Milo Kendall, Jr., who proudly served our nation and will be laid to rest in Indiana.

I am calling on our community to come together once again and help us give these two American heroes the honor and respect they deserve.

📍 Location: Maverik, 130 Old Route 66, St. Robert (Exit 161)

📅 Date: Friday, October 30, 2026

🕘 Time: Please arrive by 9:00 a.m. The es**rt is expected at approximately 9:15 a.m.

Bring your American flags, line the area, and help us give these veterans a patriotic welcome as they make their final journey. 🇺🇸

You don't have to know these veterans personally to honor their service. Sometimes, simply showing up, standing proudly with an American flag, and demonstrating our community's gratitude speaks louder than words.

I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to the Patriot Guard Riders and the Missouri State Highway Patrol for their continued dedication to honoring those who have served our great nation.

St. Robert, let's show these heroes and their families that their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten!

🇺🇸 WE REMEMBER. WE HONOR. WE STAND TOGETHER. 🇺🇸

What a wonderful time visiting with the second graders at Freedom Elementary!

I truly enjoyed spending time with these young Tigers, answering their questions, and talking about our community and what it means to serve as Mayor of St. Robert.

Their curiosity, enthusiasm, and questions made this such a fun and rewarding experience!

A special thank you to the teachers and staff at Freedom Elementary for inviting me into their classrooms. It's always a great day when I get to spend time with our future leaders!

Next Friday, October 30, we'll be closing City offices a little early so we can bring our employees together for our Annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon.

As Mayor, I have the privilege of seeing firsthand just how much our City employees do for this community. Much of their hard work happens behind the scenes, and they don't always receive the recognition they deserve.

This luncheon gives us an opportunity to say THANK YOU, recognize employees for their years of dedicated service, and remind them just how much they're appreciated.

I'm extremely proud of our St. Robert City team, and I believe taking a little time to recognize their hard work is time well spent!

To our residents, thank you for your understanding and continued support of the men and women who serve our community every day! 🇺🇸👏

Please see the City's announcement below for details about the early closure.

The City of St. Robert would like to inform residents that all City offices will close at 11:30 a.m...

Volunteers Needed! Help Us Make the 4th Annual Salute to the Season a Success!

It's time to start planning our 4th Annual Salute to the Season, and we're looking for community members who would like to help make this another memorable evening for our Soldiers!

This annual event brings our community together to provide a fun-filled evening for service members who are unable to travel home for the holidays.

We're putting together our planning committee and would love your help with decorating, bingo, trivia, games, activities, and all the little details that make this event special!

📅 First Committee Meeting: Wednesday, October 21
⏰ Time: 10:30 a.m.
📍 Location: Tourism Room at the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce

Can't attend the meeting? No worries! This committee is for those who would like to take on a larger role in planning and organizing the event.

If you'd simply like to volunteer and help out on the day of the event, there will be plenty of opportunities for that, too! An online volunteer sign-up roster will be available in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more information.

Whether you want to help plan the event or simply volunteer your time, we would love to have you involved!

Let's come together once again to show our Soldiers that even when they can't be home for the holidays, they have a community right here that cares about them. ❤️🇺🇸

Please share this post with your family and friends and help us spread the word!
