66 showed up for the meeting. Great food and conversations. Discussed the Spit meeting monday, the water outage monday, the election of officers, the donation to the land trust, the proposed dog park, introduced new members, and park work day was set for Sat Apr 12th 8:30 AM

Homeowner's spring picnic and business meeting tomorrow 6:00 PM at the Mason's lodge. expecting 58 attendees.

Homeowner's picnic 10/27 was great, we had new people, great food and no serious complaints

Sat May 18th, 18 for park clean up. Two trailer loads to the dump + 10 bags of leaves to Jim Curtis's garden. Thanks, folks.

12 Volunteers at the Park workday this morning. Next workday scheduled for May 18th. We completely filled up my trailer by 10AM, then got another 2/3 of a trailer after going to the dump. Park looks a lot better on the Northeast corner. On the 18th we will start on the Southwest corner.

Today I discussed with Dr. Gardner of the tree board the planting of oak trees in the park to replace the damaged trees. He was concerned that we would have problems because live oaks don't do well in shade and a 2" caliper tree would require regular watering for 18 months after transplanting. Also it is better to transplant oaks in the fall after the acorns. So that gives us a while to figure out the sun/water situation. It was OK with parks dept, and OK if done right by the tree dept.

52 I think attended the business meeting and dinner this evening. A park workday is planned for Sat 4/27 09:00. Bring your gloves!

3 days of phone calls. Visits to lawyers. Meetings with officials. BUT now the Antique Show will not happen in Kings Park. Thanks to all who helped with the phone calls.

We had the spring picnic. 51 in attendance. RC Johnson, Clyde Wilkes and Roger Frobe were re-elected to the board. we have a yellow plate that had a rum/poundcake on it....empty plate is all that is left
