Ste. Genevieve R-II School District Official Website of the Ste. Genevieve R-II School District in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. About Us & Comment Guidelines:

Welcome! At the Ste. Please:

1.

Genevieve County R-II School District, we are excited to offer diverse educational opportunities where each of our students can learn, grow and achieve success. We are a proud leader in education, consistently working to prepare our students for their futures. When they leave our halls and head out into the world, we hope to have given them a strong foundation to make a positive, meaningful impact. Each year, we serve more than 1,800 students through our four schools (the high school, middle school, Ste. Genevieve Elementary, Bloomsdale Elementary) and our preschool program. You can check out each of their pages, along with our Performing Arts Center’s page, by scrolling down to our featured pages section located in the right-hand sidebar of our district’s page. Not only are we eager to share with you all of the wonderful activities going on in our classrooms and around the district, but we hope to create an inviting space here for our community, as well. We welcome the opportunity to engage with our parents and community members through our social media channels. We encourage dialogue that is open, honest and professional while being respectful of diverse viewpoints. Comment Guidelines

💚🐲 We are incredibly grateful to Amrize (formerly LafargeHolcim) for a generous $16,650 donation to support Bloomsdale Elementary’s Dragon Bites program through Care to Learn - Ste. Genevieve!

Dragon Bites provides food bags to help meet students’ needs, while Care to Learn – Ste. Genevieve also provides immediate support for emergent health, hunger and hygiene needs across SG R-II.

Amrize is one of several generous donors who have responded to our chapter’s recent outreach to help sustain these programs into the next school year. The response from our community has exceeded our hopes, and we are so thankful for everyone who continues to support SG R-II students. 💚

Today, we want to give a shoutout to Sam and Eric Kertz with Ability Network, Inc! Ability Network, Inc has been supporting Care to Learn Ste. Genevieve for several years. When asked why she choose to give, she shared: “As a business owner my greatest privilege is to be able to give back to my community and to be able to give back to the school I grew up in is an added perk! Knowing that it’s directly impacting students is a huge factor in that decision.”🙌

💚DONOR SPOTLIGHT💚: Bales Concrete, LLC
Today, we want to give a shoutout to John and Valerie Bales with Bales Concrete, LLC! Bales Concrete, LLC has been supporting Care to Learn Ste. Genevieve for the last couple of years. When asked why they choose to give, they shared: “We are thankful for the opportunity to give to Care to Learn Ste. Genevieve. We cannot always see the needs of students and their families the way school staff does, so this is a great way for us to be able to assist those in our school and community when they need it. Thank you to the staff that run the program, as well as those who provide resources where they see necessary.”🙌 Thank you John and Valerie for being a helping hand!

SG R-II recently received 230 tourniquets from MLC, formerly Mississippi Lime Company, to add to safety kits throughout the district!

The donation was made possible through the support of MLC and collaboration between the Ste. Genevieve County Health Department and SG R-II SRO Christy Clark!
