CPR Training for our 8th Grade Cadets!

Today, our students learned the importance of adult CPR, why BLS (Basic Life Support) matters, how to keep themselves safe while responding to an emergency, and how to provide life-saving care when it matters most.

These skills empower our students to recognize emergencies, respond confidently, and potentially make the difference between life and death.

You never know when you might be called upon to help someone in need. Being prepared can save a life!

Thank you to LAC Fire Department for including EFC in their community event! It was a great opportunity to showcase apparatus throughout the area, while EFC provided fire prevention education to the community

Even with the event going on, EFC remained busy at home, responding to two alarms in our local during the evening.

We appreciate the opportunity to work alongside our neighboring departments and continue educating and serving our communities

🚒 One of our favorite days of the year, Fire Prevention Day! 🔥

EFC had the opportunity to partner with Elsinboro School to provide fire prevention education to students throughout the school

As always, we kicked off the day with an educational session before moving on to our highly anticipated Fire Safety Relay! 🚨

This year, we also incorporated our eighth-grade recruits into the program, giving them the opportunity to help teach fire safety to the rest of the school. It was a great way to reinforce what our eighth graders have learned through our program while allowing them to take on a leadership role and share that knowledge with younger students.

Days like today remind us why we love what we do. We’re proud to partner with our school and invest in the next generation through education, leadership, and community involvement. 5 EFC members and 8 recruits!
