🎲😂 WHO KNEW SENIORS WERE THIS COMPETITIVE?! 😂🎲

Livingstone's senior class came to Boone Ridge Senior Living😎🙌

As part of our intergenerational program, THRIVE, our amazing residents taught the students some of their all-time favorite games! 🎉 There were laughs, a little friendly competition, and probably a few future game champions in the making! 🏆

The students may have come ready to learn, but our seniors came READY TO WIN! 😉♟️

At Boone Ridge, we believe the best connections happen when generations come together, share a few laughs, and maybe learn a thing or two from each other. ❤️

THRIVE: Bridging generations, building friendships, and proving you’re NEVER too old to school someone at game night! 😂❤️

One of our Extraordinary residents daughter and son in-law own a coffee shop in Aumsville called "Lucky You". ☕️ ❤️ ☕️

So we decided to take a bus adventure for some delicious morning coffee!
"Lucky You" is in Aumsville Oregon, a small town coffee shop that serves up a variety of delicious drinks and pastries. The atmosphere is amazing, cozy and a perfect place to sit down with friends or family and sip on your choice of drink and swap stories! 🚌 ☕️

Thank you to "Lucky You" for the Exceptional service and care you gave to our residents while visiting! ❤️

💚THRIVE at Boone Ridge Senior Living!💚

We’ve been loving the start of a new school year and welcoming back some of our favorite kiddos through our intergenerational program, THRIVE!!! There’s nothing quite like the joy, laughter, and special connections that happen when generations come together, we made fresh butter and biscuits (one our grandmas favorite recipes), painted harvest terra cotta pots all amongst great conversation!

We’re so excited for another year of shared smiles, meaningful moments, and friendships that make our community so special.

💚Here’s to a wonderful year of learning, growing, and THRIVING together! 💚

Celebrating National Quesadilla Day and enjoying Jarritos iconic, Mexican-style fruit-flavored soft drink at Boone Ridge Assisted Living! 💛

What better way to celebrate and enjoy a truly culinary treat! 😋

It’s hard to believe today, but quesadillas were largely unknown in many parts of the United States just a hundred (or less) years ago. The ancient Aztecs knew they had a good thing many centuries before Europeans stepped foot in the New World. Aztec tribes in Mexico were the first to make corn tortillas. It didn’t take them long to begin stuffing cheese and other things in between two of them. Today, almost all of us love this Mexican food staple and consume them often.💛
