Add another Salem school stop for vision screening and nurse's office supplies for our Salem Lions! The latest visit - St. Joseph's School. Lions Marie, our vision screening star (perhaps we should consider her to be a true "Vision-ary"; sorry, we couldn't resist 😁) and Lynn provided the assistance at this visit.

We will continue our Salem school visits through the Lions "Week of Service - Vision" and beyond, until the end of the month. Just one more example of how "WE SERVE".

Another day of vision screening in the books for our Salem Lions! The latest school - North Salem Elementary. Thanks to Lions Lori, Gail and Marie for assisting in this important activity, as well as providing the school nurse with a stockpile of snacks and supplies!

Our vision screenings will be continuing through the end of the month. Just another example of how "WE SERVE".

Mark your calendars! The Salem Lions Annual Tree Lighting will happen this year on Wednesday, December 2nd from 6 to 8pm at the Salem Veterans Common. There will be the usual assortment of fun festivities, including a visit by Santa Claus!

We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Another day, another stop as we continue the Lions International "Week of Service - Vision" and provide snacks and supplies to stock up in nurses' offices.

The latest stop - The Boys and Girls Club of Salem. Thanks once again to Lions Michelle and Marie for making this delivery!

Add another stop for our Salem Lions in support of Lions International "Week of Service - Vision", as well as another batch of supplies to assist school nurses.

We're happy to help out, Birches Academy! It's why "WE SERVE".

🦁💛 A ROARING THANK YOU to the Salem NH Lions Club! 💛🦁

We are grateful for our continued partnership with the Salem NH Lions Club and their dedication to supporting the health and well-being of students in our community!

As part of Lions Clubs International's Week of Service – Vision, the Salem Lions have kicked off their annual vision screenings in Salem's elementary schools, including The Birches Academy! 👓 These free screenings play an important role in identifying potential vision concerns early, helping ensure students receive the support they need to see clearly and succeed in the classroom.

But their generosity didn't stop there! During their visit, the Lions also dropped off a wonderful donation of snacks, wipes, and tissues for our school nurse's office! These everyday essentials make a big difference in helping us care for our students. ❤️

Thank you, Salem NH Lions Club, for your generosity, service, and continued partnership! We are fortunate to have community organizations like yours who truly live the spirit of giving back.

🐻 From all of us at The Birches Academy, THANK YOU!

While our Salem Lions were at Lancaster Elementary School providing vision screenings, Lion Michelle took the opportunity to provide something that most school nurses will greatly appreciate - a stockpile of various snacks that she can provide to students who visit the nurse's office! Our Lions vision screeners will be performing this same service as they visit each of the elementary schools as part of the Lions Club International "Week of Service - Vision".

It is always great to help out in the community; it's even better when you can aid 2 worthy causes at the same time and double-up in living up to the motto "WE SERVE".

We've started a couple of days early, but early is never a bad thing! Our Salem Lions have begun annual vision screening in Salem School District elementary schools in support of Lions Clubs International "Week of Service - Vision". These free screenings result in helping to identify young students needing vision assistance at an early early age.

Thanks go to Salem Lions Lori, Michelle, and Marie for helping out at the first of the schools (Lancaster Elementary). These 3 are just another example of how "WE SERVE"!
