On Saturday, June 27, 2026, members of our company, alongside the Gardner Lake Volunteer Fire Company and the Town of Salem career fire staff, participated in an in-service training on our new AMKUS Rescue Systems extrication equipment.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the outstanding team from Fire Tech & Safety—especially Dave, Brendan, and John—for giving up part of their summer Saturday to provide professional, hands-on instruction. Their expertise ensured our members are prepared to safely and effectively operate this new life-saving equipment.

A special thank you also goes to Sid's Used Auto Parts & Sales for generously donating the vehicles used during the training. Without those vehicles, this realistic and valuable hands-on training would not have been possible.

Most importantly, we want to thank the residents of the Town of Salem. Your support in approving the funding for these new rescue tools demonstrates your commitment to public safety. Because of your investment, our firefighters now have state-of-the-art equipment that will serve the Town of Salem and our neighboring communities for many years to come.

These new rescue tools will allow us to operate more safely, perform vehicle extrications more quickly, and provide an even higher level of service when our community needs us most.

Thank you for your continued trust and support. We are proud to serve the Town of Salem.
