As Fire Prevention Month wraps up, let’s keep fire safety going all season long!
With colder temperatures settling in, many of us are turning to wood stoves and fireplaces to keep our homes warm. Before you light that first fire of the season, take a moment to make sure your chimney is clean and safe.
The Salida Fire Department’s Barrow-a-Brush Chimney Safety Program makes it easy and FREE to borrow a chimney brush to help clean your chimney and reduce the risk of a chimney fire.
📍 Stop by Station 11 at 611 Oak Street to borrow a brush!
Questions about the program or chimney safety? Give us a call at (719) 539-2212. We’re happy to help!
Fire prevention doesn’t stop when October ends. Let’s work together to keep our homes, families, and community safe all fall and winter long!
