Salina's Street Fair Parade is this Saturday!
Parade starts at 10am. Following the parade, activities will center around Smoky Hill Museum, 211 W. Iron Ave.

The free Street Fair runs until 4 p.m. and includes food vendors, Old West activities, historical re-enactors, children's crafts, caricaturists and live entertainment.

The Boiling Pot Chili Cook-off will also return. Public chili tasting and voting is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with tasting tickets priced at $2.50. The winner is scheduled to be announced at 2 p.m.

Live entertainment includes Kansas country artist Jake Gill, who is scheduled to perform during the event and return for an encore set at 3 p.m.

The museum will also have its “America's 250th: Connecting a Nation” exhibit open Saturday.

A few pictures from yesterday's dinner for National President Coral. The event was very well attended and VA Tuesday night group stayed and they had watermelon and we served shepherd's pie. I think Salina made a good impression. Thank you!

Reminder of our meeting on Tuesday the 8th at 7pm. There is a dinner before for the National Aux President's visit. Starts at 5:30pm with social, dinner at 6pm.
