🌧️ Rainy Season Reminder! 🚗

With the rainy season approaching, now is a great time to check your windshield wipers and replace them if they’re worn out. Good visibility is essential when driving in wet weather!

✅ Check your wiper blades for wear and tear.
✅ Replace them if they leave streaks or struggle to clear your windshield.
✅ Slow down and increase your following distance when roads are wet.

A little preparation now can make a big difference when the rain arrives. Stay safe out there!

🌧️ ¡Recordatorio de la temporada de lluvias! 🚗

¡Mantente seguro!

🚨 Today is National Move Over Day! 🚨

When you see flashing lights or a stopped emergency, tow, or roadside assistance vehicle, remember to Move Over and Slow Down. If it’s safe to do so, move over one lane. If you can’t, slow down and proceed with caution.

Our first responders and roadside workers put themselves at risk every day to help others. Let’s do our part to keep them safe. 💙

Move over. Slow down. Save lives.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

California Highway Patrol stands with those affected by breast cancer, including survivors, those currently fighting, caregivers, families, and loved ones.

Throughout the month, you may notice CHP officers wearing a breast cancer awareness pin on their uniforms; a small symbol of support for those affected by this disease.

Breast cancer can impact anyone. Early detection can make a difference, so take the time to know your risk, schedule recommended screenings, and encourage the people you love to do the same.

Together, we can raise awareness, show support, and remind those facing breast cancer that they are never alone. 💗
