As National Public Works Week continues, today we want to highlight the many ways our team connects with the community beyond their daily responsibilities.

Throughout the year, Public Works staff attend school events, career fairs, and other community outreach opportunities across Salisbury to help educate residents of all ages about the important work we do every day.

Sharing what Public Works is all about and inspiring future generations is incredibly rewarding for our team, and we’re proud to serve and connect with our community.

Road Resurfacing Work Underway in Salisbury 🚧

Each year, the City of Salisbury invests in maintaining and improving our roadway network to provide safer, smoother, and longer-lasting streets for residents and visitors.

As resurfacing work continues, crews will mill and repave streets identified for maintenance based on pavement conditions, traffic volume, and overall roadway needs.

During construction, residents may experience temporary delays, lane closures, uneven pavement surfaces, or limited on-street parking. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as this important infrastructure work is completed.

Please remember to:
✔️ Slow down in work zones
✔️ Follow all traffic control signs and flaggers
✔️ Give crews plenty of room to work safely

Thank you for your continued support as we work to maintain and improve Salisbury’s streets for the entire community!
