Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Salisbury Rotary Club Reverse Raffle! 🎟️💙

It was a wonderful evening supporting an even better cause. Proceeds from the Reverse Raffle help provide scholarships for Rowan County and Salisbury high school students to continue their education right here in our community at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, Livingstone College, and Catawba College.

Yesterday, at the City of Salisbury’s America 250th Birthday Community Block Party, the Veteran’s Arch was officially dedicated in memory of Rotarian Reid Leonard. Reid’s vision and passion for honoring local veterans inspired the creation of this lasting memorial.

Salisbury Rotary Club President Traci Williams delivered remarks during the dedication ceremony.

Located at the Patriots Flag Concourse, the Veterans Arch stands as a place for reflection, remembrance, and community connection, ensuring that the service and sacrifice of local veterans will be honored for generations to come.

As we close out the 2025–26 Rotary year, we want to express our deep gratitude to President Rocky Cabagnot for an outstanding year of leadership.

Rocky brought tremendous energy, was always ready to help, and set an example of service that lifted our entire club. From “Coffee with the President” to teaching multi-generational members how to use a phone - He spearheaded an incredible year of growth, fellowship, and impact — and we are truly grateful.
Today’s Passing of the Gavel at The Hut was extra special as we were joined by 10 past club presidents who helped officially pass the gavel to our new president, Traci Williams.

Welcome, Traci — we’re excited for the year ahead!

This past year was full of accomplishments, including welcoming 17 new members, raising over $34,000 at the Reverse Raffle, gifting 400+ pairs of shoes through Happy Feet, hosting district events, honoring Paul Harris Fellows, strengthening Interact & Rotaract, celebrating Cindy Fink as our first District Governor since 1989, and so much more.

This week, Dr. Duane Aagaard and Dr. Troy Carlton from Catawba College gave the club a timely informational presentation about the FIFA World Cup. We all walked away with a better understanding of the qualification process and the business behind the World Cup.

This week, we heard from Leah and Shawn Campion, owners of the newly renovated Alley and Main in downtown Salisbury.

Leah and Shawn shared the interesting history of the building, the renovation process, and future plans. Alley & Main is a vibrant mixed-use space with apartments and commercial space.

Thank you Shawn and Leah, for investing in downtown Salisbury and preserving a piece of Salisbury’s history!
