In celebration of the 81st anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe, the Rowan Museum is excited to host a WW2 history display! The free-of-charge event will take place Saturday, May 23rd from 12 PM to 5 PM with a set-up at 11 AM!

We are incredibly excited to host ‘Craft in the Garden’ this Saturday for Cheerwine Festival! Come to the back garden of the Rowan Museum to dive in the history of past crafts, and for the opportunity to make one yourself!

Join us this Tuesday as we welcome Janet Pyatt for this month's history club at the Rowan Museum! Known as 'The Backcountry Peddler,' Janet is a member of the Southeast Mercantile Cooperative and will be discussing textiles and trade in early North Carolina! Learn about the wonderful textiles imported to our state and how they developed alongside America! We'll see you there!
