Calling all animal lovers! ๐๐
๐ฃ ROWAN NEUTER SCOOTER NEEDS YOUR HELP - AND WE NEED IT NOW!
After more than a year and a half of weekly clinics at the Park Ave Center, we received notice today from the City of Salisbury Parks & Recreation Department that our recurring rental will end on June 17th due to building renovations. That gives us less than three weeks to find a new home!
June 17th will be our last clinic at Park Ave. Without a new venue, we go dark - and Rowan County loses its only weekly, low-cost spay/neuter option.
We are actively reaching out to organizations and businesses in the area, but we need the community's help spreading the word and making connections we might not have.
๐ WHAT WE NEED:
A permanent weekly home (open to temporary interim solutions too) - one day per week (currently Wednesdays) approximately 6am-4pm. We bring every piece of equipment with us. We ask for:
โ๏ธ Indoor space (approximately 15x30 ft minimum)
โ๏ธ Electricity
โ๏ธ An accessible restroom
โ๏ธ Parking near the entrance for the mobile veterinary truck, plus room for client morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up traffic - only 2 to 3 volunteer vehicles stay on-site all day
Rowan Neuter Scooter operates with the nonprofit support of Rescue 4The Unwanted. We have no budget for commercial rental rates, but we are absolutely open to conversations about what a mutually beneficial partnership could look like.
If your organization, business, church, or facility has space - or if you know someone who might - please reach out to us directly. Every lead matters and every share helps.

๐ 980-330-1350 Please note this is a volunteer's personal number - calls and texts welcome, but please be respectful of hours.
We have served this community every single week for two years because the need never stops. We are not ready to stop either! Please help us find our next home.
๐ A heartfelt thank you to the City of Salisbury, North Carolina - Government Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department and the Park Ave Center for hosting us and supporting our mission since January 2025. To Dr. Welch and Community Pets Mobile Veterinary Clinic, to every volunteer, every client, and every one of our 5K+ who have been part of this journey - it truly takes a village. Please help us find our new village home.

๐จ Volunteer Help Needed โ Tuesday & Thursday Mornings until at least June 11th.
We are in urgent need of volunteers on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to help Communities In Schools and Rufty-Holmes with moving furniture for residents displaced by the Wiley Apartment fires.
If youโre able to lend a hand, it would make a tremendous difference for these families rebuilding after the fire. โค๏ธ
