💛💛 GOLD OUT FOR A GREAT CAUSE! 💛💛

Let’s turn Erwin GOLD! 💛🦅

We are asking all students to wear gold or yellow tomorrow in support of childhood cancer research! Every little bit makes a difference, and this is a great opportunity for our Erwin family to come together to support an important cause.

Bring in a $2 donation to support childhood cancer research!

Don't have gold or yellow to wear? You can make it a Hat Day🧢: Students can also wear a hat for the day with their $2 donation!

All money raised will be donated to Cool Kids Clubhouse to support their incredible work with children and families impacted by childhood cancer.

Let’s show our support, spread awareness, and make a difference together! Every dollar counts, and together, we can make an impact! 💛

The Student Heart Screening opportunity is coming up for East Rowan and Erwin students.

We really want to make this first screening opportunity a success. The more families who participate, the more we can show our schools and communities that there is a real interest in making heart screenings available to students.

What is being done?
A 12-lead ECG/EKG is performed. It is quick, non-invasive and takes about 5 minutes or less.

Who reviews the ECG?
Each screening is reviewed by a cardiologist.

How much does it cost?
The screening is $20 per student.

What if a family can't afford it?
A student will not be turned away because of an inability to pay. Assistance is available.

When do families get results?
Results are generally available within 10 business days through a secure portal.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest can happen in young people who appear completely healthy.

📣 East Rowan & Erwin families — please take a few minutes to look at the information, scan the QR code and get your student signed up.
This is open to ANY student
Not just athletes.
