As many of you know, Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, along with Rowan Helping Ministries, Rowan County United Way, and Communities in Schools have been working hard to help the displaced residents of the building fire on March 31. A little over 50 of the 76 have placement but we need a lot of household items and furniture.

Please help us spread the word and share this post with your church, circle of friends, family. Over 50 of the 76 have new places to live (Thanks to the help of Rowan Helping Ministries), now we need to help them make a home.

To say we are proud of our participants is an understatment! Rowan County Senior Games & Silver Arts had 100 more participants this year than last. Thank you all for stepping up and out of your comfort zone to participate!
