UPDATE 4/17/2026 #006 (It's lengthy)
🇺🇸 RIDE TO SURVIVE – UPDATE 🇺🇸
Sorry for the delay on this update. Cheryl's health by far is at the forefront of my priorities.
Our fundraising has been slow-going these past few weeks, but the mission continues to move forward.
This weekend, I’ll be at the Car Show at American Legion Post 106
📍 6250 Hwy 801, Salisbury, NC
I’ll be there manning a STOP SOLDIER SU***DE booth, with information on how to get help, who to contact, and how to take that first step if you or someone you know is struggling.
🔧 Good news — Rosie is back.
“Rosie the Riveter” has been repaired with a new transplant and upgrades, giving her even more power for the road ahead.
❤️ My wife Cheryl begins her radiation treatments next Monday, and we’ll be taking in this weekend together—surrounded by the amazing bikes, cars, trucks, and semis on display.
Our plan is to launch the Ride to Survive in late May to early June.
Because no matter what…
The ride must go on.
On a more somber note—
The number we talk about… the 17 to 22 a day…
It grew again.
Today, we laid to rest an active duty United States Marine.
A young man whose life was just beginning—recently pinned Corporal… and now he’s gone.
Let that sink in.
This is why we ride.
This is why we fight.
This is why we don’t quit.
If you can support, share, or simply check on a fellow Comrade—please do.

🇺🇸 Together we ride to save lives.
I'm supporting Stop Soldier Su***de! Our mission is to reduce service member and veteran su***de by using enhanced data insights, focused client acquisition, and su***de-specific intervention services.

For nearly a year, American Legion posts and departments across the country and beyond have been promoting events, initiatives and collaboration opportunities overseen by the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission, in advance of the nation’s 250th anniversary July 4, 2026.
Onstage at 's Commander’s Call Monday, a relationship encouraged locally and regionally by an American Legion National Executive Committee resolution last May became an official national resource partnership. American Legion National Commander Dan K. Wiley and America250 Executive Vice President Jennifer Condon signed an agreement formalizing the alliance before hundreds of patriotic Americans.
