The Eastern Shore Association of Municipalities stands in solidarity with the Cambridge Maryland Police Department and the Denton Police Department as both communities mourn the loss of longtime, dedicated public servants and leaders.

We honor the life and service of Captain Shane Hinson, Deputy Chief of the City of Cambridge Police Department, and Chief George Bacorn, Chief of Police for the Town of Denton.

Their years of dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to protecting their communities have left a lasting impact on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

We extend our deepest condolences to their families, fellow officers, colleagues, and the communities they faithfully served. During this difficult time, the municipalities of the Eastern Shore stand together in remembrance, gratitude, and support.

May their service and legacies never be forgotten. 🖤💙
