Salisbury Parks and Recreation is coming to a park near you this summer! We will be out in the parks select Wednesdays from 4-6 pm with games and activities for all ages. This is a free event and no preregistration is needed.

🏐 ADULT COED VOLLEYBALL OPEN GYM 🏐

Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking to have fun, this is the perfect opportunity to meet new people, get active, and enjoy some friendly competition. Come for the game, stay for the community!

Dates: June 1-4 and July 13-16
Time: 6-8 pm
Ages: 18+
Cost: Free

Due to forecasted weather, the Community Day event planned for Saturday, May 23, at Fred M. Evans Pool will be postponed. Instead, the event will be held as an End-of-Summer Pool Community Day at a later date. More information will be released once details are finalized.

The Fred M. Evans Pool and Splash Pad opening on Saturday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. will proceed as scheduled, operating on the block schedule with limited capacity. 29th ANNUAL 5K FOR THE GREENWAY 🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️

This annual 5k race takes place on a certified 3.1 mile course that follows a portion of the Salisbury Greenway. Take in the beautiful scenery and support your community at the same time. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt.

Date: Saturday, July 18
Time: 8:00 am (5K) & 8:45 am (Fun Run)

The Bell Tower Green water wall and splash pad will be turned off for extended periods while City staff and engineers investigate unusually high water usage and ongoing mechanical issues with the system.

There may be short intervals when the feature is turned on for testing, but regular operation will remain paused.

As we work through this process, the City remains committed to being good stewards of our community’s water resources, especially during ongoing drought conditions.

🏐 YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP 🏐

This camp, intended for all player levels, is designed to teach and enhance ones volleyball skills and overall performance on the court. Camp instruction will be given by local coaches, players and former players. Campers should bring a snack and a water bottle each day.

⚾ YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP ⚾

Are you ready to bring your skills to the next level? There will be instruction on pitching, hitting, fielding and base running. Campers will participate in skill development sessions and live game instruction. Camp staff will include local high school coaches and players. Participants need to bring their own baseball gear and water.

🖌 SENIOR WATERCOLOR PAINT CLASS 🎨

This fun and relaxing watercolor painting class is designed especially for seniors is back! Beginner or experienced, this class offers an enjoyable way to explore your creativity while learning basic watercolor techniques, color blending, and brush control. Under the guidance of a friendly instructor, participants will complete beautiful watercolor projects each week. No pressure—just paint, relax, and let your imagination flow!
