Game On! This dedicated gaming time welcomes ladies of all ages to play, learn, sharpen their skills, and connect with others who share a passion for video games. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or just getting started, this is a fun and supportive space to discover.

🏀 BOYS BASKETBALL LEAGUE 🏀 Registration ends this week!

Get ready for a fun, skill-building season focused on teamwork, sportsmanship, and basketball fundamentals in a supportive environment. Registration deadline is October 24. Preseason placement draft will be the week of November 2. Practice will begin the week of November 9. Games season is December-January. Practice once a week, games mostly on weekends. Don’t miss out—register today and be a part of the action!

YOUTH SPORTS COACHING CLINIC

Interested in coaching youth sports? Learn the fundamentals of coaching, player safety, positive communication, sportsmanship, practice planning and creating a fun supportive environment for young athletes. This clinic will help you build the confidence and skills needed to make a positive impact on youth while preparing for the upcoming season. No previous coaching experience is required.

Day: Saturday, October 24
Time: 10:00AM – noon

Creativity, Discovery, Imagination and Learning! Explore different styles of learning through fun activities with art, STEAM, recreation activities, tutoring, and much more. Will also partner with local agencies and organizations to offer a variety of engaging activities.

Days: Monday-Friday (Following the RSS Calendar)
Time: 2:30-6:00 pm
Location: City Park Recreation Center (316 Lake Dr.)
Ages: Kindergarten - 5th grade
Cost: $150 per quarter

This week our team attended the Future Me Career Spirit Week at J.H. Knox Intermediate School. Students discovered many career fields including all the opportunities Parks and Recreation has to offer. During our visit students had the chance to talk with City staff, play games, and participate in physical activities.
