Voters pamphlets are showing up in mail boxes, and you may have noticed, Timberland Regional Library is on the ballot!!

Bring your questions to this Friday's Drop-In Levy Information Session to get some facts and learn more about the upcoming measure and what it would mean for your library and community. TRL Administrators and staff will be available to answer questions and provide information.

A later session will also be held at the Chehalis Timberland Library from 5:00-6:00 pm. TRL.ORG/LEVY

Here is your reminder for Saturday's Seed Saving Workshop!
Learn how to harvest viable seeds, prevent cross-pollination, and create a seed bank for sustainable gardening. You are invited to bring seeds that you have harvested to swap with others and share with our seed library!

Look out for the DSHS Mobile Office this next Tuesday, Sept. 29 in the Salkum Library parking lot!
The mobile office will be parked and ready to help from 11:00-3:00.

Stop by to apply for, or manage your Basic Food (SNAP) and Cash Assistance, handle Medicare/Medicaid case reviews, and get replacement EBT cards on the spot. They can also assist with childcare subsidy documents, lifeline phone benefits, and ID vouchers.

Tomorrow is the first of our STEAM programs on the 4th Saturdays!
This month we are experimenting with some kitchen science stations. Are your kiddos fans of , or maybe some baking soda/vinegar reactions??
Dress for mess and drop-in between 2:00 - 3:30!

There is a LOT happening this week at the Salkum library!

: Salkum Art Share - for all you wonderfully creative teens and adults, see some art, share some art, inspire and be inspired!

: Family Storytime - stories, nursery rhymes, free play and art activities, mostly geared towards the littles, but the whole fam is welcome!

: Double Feature - Seed Saving Workshop presented by WSU Master Gardener's of Lewis County, and STEAM Saturday at 2:00 where kids can explore some messy "kitchen" science stations.

This year, Timberland Regional Library was chosen as one of the library systems around the world to get limited edition Laufey Book Club collaborative library cards for "A Very Laufey Day" & Library Card Signup Month!

Laufey is an Icelandic-Chinese composer, singer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, NY Times bestselling author, and honorary chair of Library Card Signup Month.

Cards are one/patron while supplies last.
For new & existing cardholders - If you are a current cardholder, you will get a new library card number if you get a new card.
