**It’s Public Power Week!**

This week, communities across the country are celebrating the benefits of public power, and Sallisaw is proud to be one of them!

Being a public power community means **our electric utility is community-owned and locally operated**, with a focus on providing reliable electric service to the people who live and work right here in Sallisaw.

Public Power Week is a chance to recognize the employees who help keep our community powered every day and celebrate the value of having a local electric utility serving our community.

Happy Public Power Week, Sallisaw!
