Our thoughts are with the family of President Russell M. Nelson and our neighbors who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are also saddened by the news of a shooting and fire at an LDS meeting house in Michigan.

Exciting things are happening at Allen Park! 🦚 🌳

At the end of last week, our crew wrapped up Allen Fest; a spring cleaning spanning over Thursday and Friday. These two days were a huge effort led by our Trails and Natural Lands Team (TNL) and the SLC Fire Department working to clean up the front area of the park to create direct sight lines from the sidewalk in, as well as mitigate any potential fire hazards caused by low hanging foliage/vegetation.

With the goal of restoration in mind for this beloved Sugarhouse park, our team is starting strong by taking good care of this front lawn portion the same way George and Ruth Allen would have when they resided on the land.
