It’s Black Friday, one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Do you need a good gift idea this year? We suggest a book, or even better, a book you can read together! If you don’t want to buy a new book, our school librarians can help you find a good book to read.

The purpose of the public hearing is to allow community members an opportunity to comment on the potential closure of elementary schools and possible boundary changes for the elementary schools that remain open. The public hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the West High School Auditorium.

Unlike public comment time in Board meetings, those wishing to speak in the public hearing do NOT have to sign up ahead of time. And while individual speakers may be limited in time, the public hearing will not end until every community member who has come to speak specifically about possible school closures or boundary changes has had an opportunity to speak.

If you would like the support of an interpreter, please call our Translation Services Department at (801) 578-8378.

You can find the full public hearing notice on our website: https://www.slcschools.org/departments/information-technology/boundaries-and-planning/population-and-boundary-study/notice-of-public-hearing.
