Thank you Mainfreight and Books in Homes for your generous donation to North Star!!! Students selected two books to take home, received a fun pencil pouch, and enjoyed a delicious cookie. We appreciate the time Mainfreight volunteers took out of their busy work day to distribute books to our students. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! 📚

As we continue to ask for your feedback for our elementary school boundary study, we want to pick your brain on a few specific topics. Seven schools are being studied for possible closure, and the remaining 20 schools are being studied for boundary realignment.
Today, we'd love to ask you to take a look at this map of our current school boundaries (find a larger version by going to www.slcschools.org, clicking on Schools and then District Boundary Map). Find your elementary school, and then look at what other elementary schools are near your home. We'd love to hear from you regarding obstacles in getting your child to and from elementary schools near your home.
You can find our online comment form at https://www.slcschools.org/departments/information-technology/boundaries-and-planning/population-and-boundary-study.
