Exciting changes are coming to Out of the Blue—aka “The Whale”! 🐋

This iconic sculpture at the 9th & 9th roundabout will be getting a brand-new mural next year!

As we kick off the search for the next muralist, we want to hear from you! What does “The Whale” mean to you? What makes 9th & 9th unique? What is “Out of the Blue” about Salt Lake City?

Who’s ready to celebrate Pie and Beer Day? The Ballpark Action Team is looking for volunteers for this year’s event at Smith’s Ballpark. Volunteers will get free entry and a t-shirt. The July 24 event runs from 2-9 p.m. and will include local food, activities and a drone show! This unique Utah tradition will raise funds to support the Ballpark Action Team and its work to reimagine the stadium.
